I’m Daniel Feuerstein. A lot of you may know me as the voice behind “Feuerstein’s Fire.” Here is a little information about me.I’m originally from the Bronx and I’ve been a huge sports fan as long as I can remember. My favorite teams are:
I now live in northern NJ with my wife, Robin and our cat, Max. I first got started with sports writing around 14 years ago writing about the US Open Cup. I’m currently writing for Once a Metro, a branch of SB Nation about the NY Red Bulls. I produce and host a podcast called Feuerstein’s Fire about all things US Soccer. I have been a guest expert on many other podcasts and radio shows throughout the past few years. Before and after most NY Red Bulls and USMNT games, you can find me on Facebook Live discussing the games.
I also co-host a podcast called The Jets Podcast on Fans Favorite with my good friend, Rick Laughland about the NY Jets. I am a 2010 graduate of the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
Other than sports, I am a lover of anything to do with trains. I enjoy learning everything I can about the NY City Subway, major train lines and stations.
My wonderful wife, Robin, designed this website for me. If you like what you see here and you are interested in hiring her (of course for a small fee) for a new website for your business or personal use, you may contact her at robinsfeuerstein@gmail.com. She is doing this part-time (she has a full time job) so right now she can only handle simple sites.
During my Facebook Live posts, you may spot a glimpse of our cat, Max. He loves to help me with my sports reporting as well as “helping” Robin in the kitchen. He is also a fan of watching the birdies, eating treats and sleeping in strange positions.
I hope you enjoy my new site. There are links to all of my current projects and social media. Please check it out! I always enjoy hearing from listeners and readers and feedback is definitely welcome.
